Overview

The trek to Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful trek in dhauladhar range of Himalaya. From Solang, the route winds through the famous Solang Valley. Solang valley is famous for its ski slopes & Para gliding. On this trek, you will see amazing views of lush green meadows, glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks. Beas kund also the origin of Beas River

Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Report at Nagpur Railway station on 4:00 pm at main Entrance and proceed for Ambala by Amritsar Exp.(22125)

Day 2: Reach Ambala and proceed for Manali by Volvo bus.

​

Day 3: Reach Manali. Transfer to Camp.

​

Manali: Situated at the northern end of the Kullu valley, Manali has spectacular views of snow capped peaks and wooded slopes. Surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length, Manali’s major assets are its proximity to the snow line.

Camp setup, Orientation, Introduction of equipments.

Acclimatize walk to Gautama Rishi temple (temple is linked with mythological Gautam Rishi, who had cursed his wife Ahalya, making her turn into a stone.) at Goshal Village through beautiful apple orchards

Day 4: Trek to Jogini fall and Vashishtha kund (Natural Hot water spring) Vashishtha Kund-3 kms from Manali is the village of Vashishtha, which is renowned for its hot sulphur springs. The village is also the site of some old temples, dedicated to the great sage Vashishtha, and to Lord Rama. The Himachal Tourism sulphur baths are just beyond these shrines.

Day 5: Old Manali Trek.

Manu Mandir

This is dedicated to the sage Manu. Across the Manalsu river is the original village of Manali that houses the ancient temple of the sage Manu. Manali itself is named after Manu, who is said to have dwelt here.

Hadimba Mandir   Also known as Dhoongri Temple. The main feature of the Temple is a four tiered pagoda shaped roof and beautiful carved door.

Day 6: Manali - Dhundi (3150m)
Starting from Manali will pass through Solang Nullah, From Solang, the road follows the Beas river to Dhundi, the end of the road. The camp is a small walk away. Don't miss the first glimpse of the majestic Hanuman Tibba from the campsite

.

Day 7: Dhundi - Bhakartach (3300m)
Duration: 3 hours
Gradually ascending from the valley, the trail continues to the scenic campsite at Bhakartach.

Day 8: Bhakartach - Beas Kund (3650m) – Dhundi and drive back to Manali

Duration: 6 hours
Trek over morraine to the small lake at Beas Kund, the birth place of the river Beas. After spending some time at Beas Kund, trace the path back to Dhundi. The trek ends at Dhundi from where a vehicle will pick you up and drop you back in Camp.

Day 9: After morning activity session group is allowed to explore Manali Bazaar

Manali Bazaar: Famous for dry fruits, handloom, woolen caps, handicrafts, Kullu shawls, Grass shoes etc.

​

Evening departure to Ambala by Volvo

​

Day 10: Reach Ambala and proceed for Nagpur by Amritsar Exp.(22126) on 3:55 pm.

​

Day 11: Reach Nagpur on 3:45 am. And dispersal.

  • Delhi - Manali - Delhi travel by AC bus coach.

  • Tented accommodation at Camp Apple Farm and at a higher campsite on multiple sharing basis. (Separate tents for boys and girls).

  • Charges for all adventure activities mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Charges for internal transport.

  • Travel Insurance for every participant.

  • Mineral water bottle/cold drinks/beverages during the journey or at the campsite.

  • Personal expenditure of any kind (Porterage, Telephone, Laundry, Room service, etc., if applicable).

  • Medical Expenses if any / if incurred.

  • Optional / Add on / Extra activity charges.

  • Expenses that are incurred due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers.
