Overview

Camp Apple Farm is situated at the northern end of the breathtaking Kullu Valley, near the charming village of Shanag. This idyllic location, surrounded by apple, apricot, and walnut trees, offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and lush forested slopes, with rushing streams of ice cold water from glaciers of Dhauladhar range of himalayas always within reach. The friendly and smiling local people of the mountains add to the charm of the village, known for its apple orchards and traditional handicrafts. In Shanag, you'll find traditional homes made of wood and stone using the age old method called as Katkoni architecture, with sloping roofs and beautiful gardens, adding to the picturesque atmosphere. Proximity to various trekking routes, waterfalls, meadows and slopes of deodar pine make this place serene. Camp Apple farm is ready for homestays and homely food exclusively for their guests. This unique base camp provides an opportunity to immerse in local Himachali culture, with visits to revered shrines such as the Manu Temple and Hadimba Temple, and a chance to relax at the serene hot springs at Vashishtha Kund. Explore the traditional handicraft bazaar, participate in team games and fun activities, visit an authentic Himalayan village, and delve into the local way of life and spirituality at a Tibetan Monastery.
