In Shanag, you'll find traditional homes made of wood and stone using the age old method called as Katkoni architecture, with sloping roofs and beautiful gardens, adding to the picturesque atmosphere. Proximity to various trekking routes, waterfalls, meadows and slopes of deodar pine make this place serene. Camp Apple farm is ready for homestays and homely food exclusively for their guests. This unique base camp provides an opportunity to immerse in local Himachali culture, with visits to revered shrines such as the Manu Temple and Hadimba Temple, and a chance to relax at the serene hot springs at Vashishtha Kund.
